Weave AI

Ask Weave AI about your loyalty program, get analytics answers, or have it draft rules, flows and campaigns for you. It works in both the dashboard and the Hub.

Open the assistant​

  • Select AI Assistant (the sparkle icon) at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  • Or press ⌘ / (Mac) or Ctrl + / (Windows and Linux) when you're not typing in a field. Press it again, or Esc, to close.

The assistant opens as a panel on the right. Its header has two buttons:

  • New chat starts a fresh conversation.
  • Close hides the panel.

Start a conversation​

A new chat lists a few suggested prompts, such as Set up a new loyalty program. Select one, or type your own question in the box at the bottom and press Enter. Use Shift + Enter for a new line.

Some pages send a request for you. For example, Draft it on the automation chooser opens the assistant with your description already sent. See Event Rules vs. Flows.

Attach a program template​

To set up or update a program from a template, select the paperclip and choose a .md or .xlsx file of up to 5 MB. You can add a note before sending, or send the file on its own. If the template matches a program you already have, Weave AI treats it as an update to that program rather than a new one.

While Weave AI works​

  • Weave is thinking shows until the first part of the answer arrives.
  • When Weave AI looks something up or makes a change, a line such as Weave is working appears above the answer. It lists each step, for example Working with your program or Querying analytics. When the answer is ready, the line collapses to a short summary. Select it to see the steps again.
  • To stop a reply, select the stop button where the send button was.

Read the answer​

Answers start with a short explanation, followed by the result when there is one. The result might be a table, a chart, a form to fill in, or a draft of a rule or flow. A rule or flow draft isn't saved until you open it in its editor and save it there.

If something goes wrong, the error appears above the message box and your message is put back so you can send it again.
