DLQ Records
Platform-admin access to dead-lettered Kafka records
List dead-lettered records
Returns a page of archived DLQ records, newest failure first. Resolved records are hidden unless state=RESOLVED is requested. Never returns payloads; error messages are masked.
Replay dead-lettered records
Re-publishes each record's archived key, headers and payload to its original topic, with X-Replay-Id and, unless allGroups was set, X-Replay-Target-Group naming the one group that processes it. The body must repeat the dry run's records and options with its token, and only the operator who ran the dry run may use it. Every record is marked REPLAYED and the token spent before anything is sent. Each outcome is PUBLISHED, FAILED (certainly not delivered; the record is put back as it was) or IN_DOUBT (may have been delivered; the record stays REPLAYED). Writes a dlq_record.replayed audit entry.
Dry-run a replay of dead-lettered records
Returns exactly what a replay would publish for each record (topic, key, headers and payload, masked) and every consumer group it would reach, flagging groups that are not idempotency guarded, plus a confirmation token. The token is returned only here, is single use, expires after 10 minutes, and is bound to these records, their current state and these options. By default a record goes only to the group it failed in; a record with no usable recorded group needs targetGroup, and allGroups delivers to every group on the topic.
Inspect a dead-lettered record
Returns one record's key, headers and payload with tenant PII masked. unmasked=true returns the raw values and the stack trace; it needs the system:dlq-records:write scope and writes a dlq_record.viewed_unmasked audit entry.
Reopen a resolved dead-lettered record
Returns a RESOLVED record to OPEN, which makes it replayable again. A reason is required. A record that is not RESOLVED is a 409.
Mark a dead-lettered record resolved
Closes an OPEN record without replaying it, for example when the fix was made outside the platform. A reason is required. A record that is not OPEN is a 409.
