Integrations

Integrations connect the Loom Loyalty assistant to the tools your team works in. Slack is available today.

Before you start​

You need the widgets:pipes:manage permission, which operators have. Slack also has to be turned on for your organization; until it is, the page says no integrations are available yet.

Connect Slack​

  1. Open Organization and select Integrations.
  2. Click Connect Slack (or Manage once something is installed).
  3. Pick the environment the Slack workspace should answer for. Your Dashboard stays in the environment it was in.
  4. Under Install the bot, click Install to a Slack workspace and approve it in Slack. Whoever installs the bot is linked automatically.

Link your Slack account​

Each teammate links their own Slack account to their Loom Loyalty login. The assistant replies as the bot, but only shows each person what they can see in Loom Loyalty. Link once per environment.

  1. Open Organization → Integrations, click Manage, and pick the environment.
  2. Under Link your Slack account, click Connect next to Slack and approve it in Slack.
  3. Come back to the Dashboard. The link finishes on its own and shows Your Slack account is linked.

Step 2 waits until the bot is installed in that environment. In Slack, /loom-loyalty-link opens this page.

Manage the install​

Reinstall refreshes the bot's Slack permissions. Remove from Slack uninstalls the bot from that workspace, revokes its API key and unlinks everyone's Slack account there. You can install it again later.
